Premium Tobacco’s Development

• Premium Active Tanzania Limited (PATL) was established in furthering the Groups’ expansion initiatives, and to meet market demand for African Flue Cured Virginia (FCV) tobaccos
• PATL is orientated towards entering into commercial engagements with primary societies, specifically in the Chunya and Mpanda regions, and purchases, processes and exports the contracted tobacco.
• With export demand growing in Malawi, the Group needed to consolidate its market strengths and invested in a substantial and state of the art leaf processing factory.
