Mr Parker is a founder shareholder and is Chairman of the Board or Directors. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2003.
Prior to the start-up of Premium, Mr Parker held a number of senior management roles within the tobacco industry. His work experience covers Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the United States.
Mr. Thomson is a founder shareholder and is President of the Board of Directors. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Group since 2018.
Prior to the startup of Premium Mr Thomson held various senior management positions in the leaf tobacco industry and since commencing his career in 1978, Mr Thomson’s direct work experience has seen him involved in South America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia, Middle East, Russia, and the Far East.
Mr. Morgan is a founder shareholder. He holds the position of chairman on the board audit and sustainability committees. He previously served as EVP – Corporate Strategy and as the Managing Director of Premium’s Asian businesses.
Prior to the start-up of Premium in 2002, Mr Morgan held senior management roles both within the tobacco industry and also as a professional in financial services and consultancy firms. His work experience covers Africa, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Brand is a founder shareholder of Premium Group and has served as Co-Managing Director of the Brazilian subsidiary since 2002, and has been its chairman since 2019.
Prior to the start of Premium, Mr. Brand was the Managing Director of a family owned leaf tobacco company in Brazil.
Mr. Muller is a founder shareholder of Premium Group and served as Co-Managing Director of the Brazilian subsidiary until 2019.
Mr. Muller worked in the Brazilian tobacco industry with other leaf dealers and then founded and managed his own tobacco company until the start of Premium’s operations in Brazil.
Mr. Hickman is a founder shareholder and the EVP – Commercial Director. He has held senior sales roles since inception of the Group. His focus has primarily been on sales into the Asian region and developing this growing and important portfolio for the Group.
Prior to the start-up of the Premium Group in 2002, Mr Hickman held senior management roles in the leaf tobacco industry. His work experience covers the America’s, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Gardiner is the board company secretary and is also EVP-Treasury, and has held this position since 2008. He is primarily responsible for all banking relationships, development of the groups borrowing strategies, insurance and cash flow management.
Prior to joining the Premium Group in 2008, Mr Gardiner held senior treasury management roles within the tobacco industry covering Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America.
